Objective
This seminar aims to link together the necessary knowledge building blocks for the participants, so that sufficient understanding for safe molding in such manufacturing processes can be achieved precisely at the interface between materials and process technology.

Intensive Training - Press-Hardening
Target group
This further training course is aimed at all engineers, technicians and masters from the areas of manufacturing, quality assurance, design and production planning.
Objective
With the help of the acquired know-how and skills provided in the course, participants will be able to set defined properties for selected steels suitable for heat-treatment processing, including setting the specified thermal process parameters and verifying those using appropriate material testing procedures. You will comprehensively learn the special features used in the heat-molding of body panels considered to have these characteristics, and practice these under appropriate real processing conditions. You will gain the ability to reliably operate the essentials for the press-hardening of body parts for use in material systems under mass production conditions.

The "2nd INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR on Hot Sheet Metal Forming of High-Performance Steel" held from October 24th – 25th, 2012 in Hanover, Germany, at the EuroBLECH12 was an enormous success for more than 120 participants.
With more than 20 presentations, the scientific and industrial community was strengthened by innovative results and developments from the growing international research programs we displayed. We look forward to continuing to work with you!
CHS² 2011 – BIGGEST EVENT ON PRESS HARDING TECHNOLOGY
With more than 60 presentations and more than 300 expected participants, the 3rd International Conference on Hot Sheet Metal Forming of High-Performance Steel – CHS2 2011 was held from June 13th - 16th, 2011 in Kassel, Germany.
The scientific and industrial community was strengthened and new results and developments from the growing international research programs were displayed.

Cooperation with CHS² in Qualification and Training Programs
Due to the increasing demand for specific training and qualification in the field of Hot Sheet Metal Forming Technology, CHS² decided to establish a cooperation with the GRUNDIG AKADEMIE as one of the internationally most renowned institutions in postgraduate training. Since 2010 a special seminar line-up exclusively dedicated to press hardening and hot stamping technology was successfully developed. Pursuant to the diversity of qualification requirements in the relevant industry, this specific seminar program includes a Master Class on Hot Sheet Metal Forming Technology, Intensive Trainings in Press Hardening and Regional Seminars. Also the International Seminar on Hot Sheet Metal Forming Technology, traditionally organized in the course of the EuroBLECH fair in Hanover, Germany, will be continued in October 2012 under this framework. The overall performance and the variety of methods of the seminars are designed most helpful for efficient studying.
